Barbara Montgomery, Interior Design Coordinator, approaches each project with the belief that great design is equal parts creativity and coordination, where thoughtful ideas are supported by careful planning and clear communication. With over fifteen years of experience, she brings a calm, organized presence to the design process, helping clients feel confident and supported from the earliest concepts through to final selections. She is especially drawn to interior-focused work, where space planning, materiality, and lighting come together to shape how a space feels and functions day to day.

Barbara contributes across all phases of a project, from concept design and schematic development to furniture, fixture, and lighting selections. At JGA, she works to ensure that each decision supports both the aesthetic ambition and practical needs of the project. Her experience on projects including EV6, Brighton Active Living, Grafton Heights, Applewood Meadows, and The Docks at Mooney’s Bay reflects her ability to balance creativity with efficiency, helping projects move forward smoothly while maintaining a strong design narrative.

Outside of the studio Barbara enjoys sewing, crafting, reading, thrifting, baseball and watching most sports, traveling to new places, exploring architecture and public sculpture, stewarding her own Little Free Library, and of course, brunch.
