Emily Woodstock, Studio Lead, brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to residential and community-focused architecture, with an emphasis on collaborative design and technical clarity. Her work is grounded in creating well-resolved spaces that respond to program, user needs, and the lived experience of the people who inhabit them.

With nine years of experience in the architectural industry, Emily has contributed to a range of residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. At JGA, she contributes to key projects including Belle Station Phase 2 in Cobourg, custom homes throughout Ontario, and multiple residential subdivisions in Grafton and Brighton. She is involved throughout all phases of design and delivery, translating complex program and design objectives into cohesive, well-resolved architecture.

Emily specializes in residential design and is particularly interested in custom homes shaped around the end user. She values a collaborative process with clients and believes the most successful projects emerge from a deep understanding of how people live, gather, and experience space, resulting in architecture that feels personal, considered, and enduring.

Outside of the studio, Emily can often be found making pottery, hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
